Why did the design of change? was re-designed to provide more value than what was possible within the old format. The programming platform allows for more flexibility and the ability to update content quickly and easily. It also modernizes the site to make it usable through mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.

How do I search the product catalog?
Searching the product catalog is quick and easy. It can be accessed from the top of any page within the search box next to the magnifying glass. You may also access the catalog under the menu entitled: VIEW PRODUCTS

Why are the product categories no longer in the main navigation?
To allow for additional content to be added to, the product categories have been consolidated under the VIEW PRODUCTS menu item. Here you will be able to “Browse the Catalog” via the product categories or “Search the Catalog” via filters that include category, product type and brand name.

What’s the difference between “Browse Catalog” and “Search Catalog”?
The browse catalog feature enables you to start your search by making a selection from a specific product category (i.e. Cooking & Ranges). The search catalog will automatically provide you with a key word search box and additional filters to narrow your selection.

How often will the website be updated?
The Whirlpool Corporation’s marketing team has a calendar in place that will have new content being posted on a regular basis. This content will be comprised of stories, news briefs, videos and other materials developed by the Whirlpool brands. The product catalog will be updated biweekly.

What’s the difference between the product search and the site search?
The product search is specific to the product catalog and will result in details about individual products. A new function has been provided that will enable you to search for specific stories, articles and news briefs that may exist on the site.

Will work on my tablet or smart phone?
Yes, the new has been designed to work on tablets and smart phones. Using a programming technique called “responsive design”, the website automatically re-size itself for the smaller sized screens of both Android and iOS tablets and smart phones.

What are Trade Resources?
One of the objectives of the new website is to present information that will help grow your business. The information found under Trade Resources has been organized based on the following professions and businesses: Builders, Remodelers, Architects & Designers and Distributors & Retailers.
